Tattooed Ladies

Posted 25th July, 2010 by

Hello lovelies!
Long time no chat!  I am very sorry!  Things have been quite a lot more insane than I originally expected.  This is the first time I have stopped since I got home 2 weeks ago.  The only reason I have time right now is that my body has finally given up and I am rather ill.  I literally had to force myself out of bed this morning.  It’s probably a good thing.  I need a rest.

So anyhoo, I was going to post more pictures from my trip (I managed to find a bunch of the missing ones from Seattle – yay!) but Mr A has taken off to Singapore with the hard drive they were on so my little holiday slide show will have to wait till next week.

Now that I’m home again, I am knee deep in renovations and house decorating again.  We really need to paint the walls.  We’re just being a bit lazy really.  But once that is done, I can start to hang lovelies on the wall.  We have super high ceilings so there is a lot of room to hang paintings and things.  I really like clusters of art on large walls.  I also really like sideshows.  So I think I shall combine these two things and create a wall of tattooed ladies in my living room!  YES!  I have a  fascination for illustrated ladies despite not having an inch of ink myself.  I think it would make me very happy to stare at these wonderful woman up on my walls.

I already own prints of the first two.  The last picture is a brooch but I think it would look darling in a frame yes?

I shall keep you posted and put up pictures when it happens.  I am still talking Mr A around to the idea but I’m sure I can sway him.  Squee!!!! So excited!!!!  Domestic things!

See you soon!
