Black Market Cabaret brings you entertainment from the dark corners of town. This a show that brings you a variety of burlesque and cabaret performers from Sugar Blue and the greater performing arts community.
Hosted by the very funny and charismatic MC Swingin’ Sammy Poopenmeyer, Black Market Cabaret will feature Sugar Blue Burlesque performers and other amazing artistes who we want to showcase to you to bring you the best mid-week entertainment!!
This show will feature some exquisite performers, as well as 2 international guests that we are very excited to announce to you!!
This show is not for the faint at heart. You will witness live sword swollowing, snake handling, and sideshow antics as well as lots of shakin!
Lucky Hell
Lucky Hell is the premiere female Sword Swallower performing today and the most glamorous dare devil to grace any stage, ever!
An acclaimed international performer that has graced some of the most coveted stages, including sharing one with Dita von Teese and the famous Lido Girls from the Lido, Paris.
Fresh from her staring role with the creator of modern day circus and the co-creator of Cirque du Soleil, Franco Dragone, Lucky Hell will be appearing on stage in Perth for her only appearance in Australia, a special one off show.
Known as the ‘Ultimate Specialty Act’ for her unmatched style and skill with the most mysterious and dangerous of all circus skills, do not miss this chance to witness the ultimate mix of glamour and danger.
Betsy Rose
Miss Betsy Rose is one of London’s most prestigious headline performers and a star on the International Burlesque scene. Miss Rose has dazzled audiences far and wide with her mesmerising and classic acts.
From Paris to Berlin, Milan to Monte Carlo, Australia to Africa. Not only to have graced the most glamorous of stages, Miss Rose has appeared in feature films, music videos, Television dramas and Television commercials.
Betsy has teased no less than the British Royal family, Italian Mafia, the Grand Prix elite, Cointreau and Givenchy, and featured in such magazines as French Vogue, Italian Playboy, and Harpers Bazaar.
Miss Rose is thrilled to be back in Australia following a hugely successful run with The Hurly Burly Show in Sydney back in 2012.

Agatha Frisky
Evoking the smoky back-alleys and juice joints of Bourbon St, this bewitching bearcat brings 2 parts sex, 1 part sauce and a splash of kook to create a heady cocktail that will steal your breath, your heart and your wits.
A devoted disciple of the giants of the jazz age, this frisky minx is infamous for her glorious glad rags and the cries of Get Hot! Get Hot! that follow her every move on the stage. Of all the gin-joints in all the world… you’ve just walked into hers…
Agatha is one of the Sugar Blue sauce pots and teacher at the academy. She is currently the title holder of Miss Burlesque WA 2013 and is a very sort after performer in the Perth burlesque scene!

Coco Poppin
Coco is a trained Brazilian Samba dancer with infectious energy and hips to hypnotise! She has performed and trained interstate and internationally, and her samba troupes have performed at festivals, on stage and on screen and has been one of Sugar Blue’s main performers since 2009.
The jiggliest, giggliest dancer this side of the sixties, Coco was also one of the original Les Satanique Go-Go dancers at Perth’s legendary 1960s themed supper club Deville’s Pad.

Emerald Mamba
Be mystified by the seductress and her serpents, sideshow sweetheart, Emerald Mamba from Carnies With Candy will take your breath away with her daredevil antics including walking on razor-sharp glass, flirting with a bed of nails and sharing the stage with her array of snakes, with a few other treats thrown in for good measure.
Ginger LaMinge
Ginger LaMinge is one half of Perth Based comedy burlesque duo ‘The Vintage Reds’. She has performed locally and interstate as a duo, solo burlesque artist, pinup model and musical comedian since 2009.
Her ‘so wrong that it’s almost right’ signature style is bursting at the seams with equal parts silliness and sauce, flaunting facial expressions that can’t be tamed and eyebrow-raising absurdity, she takes comical-burlesque to a limb-flailingly new level.
