“Peeping through the Waxworks” Show photos!

Posted 21st July, 2010 by

On Saturday 10th July, we held our second Sugar Blue Revue for the year at the Fly By Night in Fremantle. The theme was “Peeping through the Waxworks Window” so the Sugar Blue gals became their idols.  The show also featured two amazing guest performers – Sydney Burlesque Starlet, Tasia and Michelle Smith, Burlesque Harpist.
The amazing photos below are by the fabulous photographer John Leonard!

Betty Bam Bam began the show as Cleopatra and then Dakota Peaches became Charlie Chaplin.

Miss Burlesque WA winner, Clara Cupcakes was Betty Boop followed by another vintage cartoon character, Odile Devine playing the very sexy Jessica Rabbit!

Coco Poppin shimmied like Carmen Miranda and Lorelei Lita was the legendary Marilyn Monroe.

The glorious Tasia, our guest star, performed as cult idol Tura Sutana!

Then came the battle of the ages,  Miss Jane as Michael Jackson vs myself (A’dora Derriere) as Prince.

If the show couldnt any more ridiculous and hilarious, on came Foxy La Femme with her tribute to the busty Dolly Parton.  The glamoroua Sapphire Demure followed with a stylish performance impersonating Christina Aguilera!
Michelle Smith then wowed the audience with a Bettie Page Bondage act while playing her harp!  This was amazing!!  She is one of a kind!
Trixi Tassels was Anne Margaret. I don’t think that Anne would have tasselled like this lady though!! What a show stopper!!

Cecile Mimeux performing a tribute to Dita Von Teese.

Lexi, Miss Jane and Coco Poppin all were Single Ladies, Beyonce style!
The stunning Tasia as herself  wowed us all with a red hot fan dance! She is truely an amazing and inspirational performer!
And then for the Vogue Finale!! What fun in cone bras!!!! Woo hoo!
