Montreal Burlesque Festival Backstage!

I have just finished my weekend at the Montreal Burlesque Festival 2010!  I performed on the Friday night and I got to watch the other 2 nights and meet some of the legendary burlesque starlets who were performing at the festival as well.

Artistes included freshly crowned Miss Exotic World 2010, Roxy D Lite, Julie Atlas Muz, Michelle L’amour, Amber Ray, Gentry De Paris, Renae Le Roux, burlesque legends April March and Satan’s Angel as well as the splendid and sexy organiser, Scarlett James!

 
Here I am (A’dora Derriere) in the photo on the left with Japan’s amazing starlet Cherry Typhoon!  Definitely one of my favourite artistes of the whole festival!

The photo on the right is Cherry Typhoon and Jaqueline Hyde (Seattle) with one of our stage kittens!

Have you ever wondered what the girls get up to backstage.  Well, I happend to shap this shot of Gentry De Paris and Renae Le Roux (some of my most favourite gals that I met) being very cheeky after they performed on the Friday night!

Here is a pic of the final night of the festival for the curtain call. You can see the amazing Satan’s Angelin the middle who had been the final performer and blew everyone’s minds as she even did her fire tassel twirling!
I love this venue!  Club Soda in Montreal. What a lovely stage and the lighting was awesome. I felt like a rock star! A great festival and I got to say a big thank you to the fabulous production crew!  They did an amazing job!

Highlights of the festival included Miss Sugarpuss (Montreal) performing a Japanese inspired Saki crazed act, Michelle L’amour‘s suprising balloon act. I thought it was going to be another poptease, I was wrong and so impressed with her creativity as her helium balloons floated off with her underwear!  I also love Cherry Typhoon (Japan). She did a Geisha act which was so wild and crazy at the end.  One of the best performances I have ever seen!  I’m a complete fan!!

Next stop, New York Burlesque Festival this weekend!
