Saturdays 7th May 2011 (Beginners) & 14th May 2011 (Intermediate – Advanced) 10.00am – 1pm, at The Bakery, 233 James St, Northbridge

Course Description

The Charleston was the dance that captured the spirit of the 1920s, and it’s also experiencing a huge revival around the world today. It’s energetic, upbeat and danced to toe-tapping hot jazz. In this two week workshop you will learn the Charleston and other 1920s dances, starting with the basics and working up to advanced steps, guaranteed to bring out your inner flapper!

You have a choice to do both weeks or only one week, depending on your level.  If you choose to do the Intermediate- Advanced lesson, we advise that you either have done the Beginner’s class, or have dance experience or have done a Charleston class previously.

Price

$70 for each individual workshop (including GST)
