Empire of Desire
Sugar Blue Burlesque presents ‘Empire of Desire’, a seductive odyssey of myth-making proportions. Storytellers through tease, burlesque artistes animate the world of Greek Mythology to take you on a debaucherous journey of heroes and heroines, mythological creatures, and Grecian goddesses.
Join your host Dionysus, the God of festivals, for a show of Colossal Cuties and Herculean Hotties!
Following four years of sell-out Fringeworld shows, Sugar Blue Burlesque invites you to the playground of the Gods: treachery, taboo, flirtation and jealousy; mistresses, madness, deceit and ecstasy… Welcome to the Empire of Desire.

After four years of sellout shows at Fringe World, Sugar Blue Burlesque lavishes you with their most arousing show yet! Erotic, exotic and intoxicating, Exposé’s kings and queens of kink will put some colour into your cheeks as they present a glimpse into the underworld of sexual fetish. Cast off your inhibitions and let us show you the ropes.
Exposé guest stars Australia’s Queen of Burlesque, Imogen Kelly! Imogen is an internationally recognised legend in the performing arts world and winner of the title Queen of Burlesque at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas 2012. Fusing circus aerials, theatrics and high glamour, her acts are innovative, inspiring and eye-popping!
Hosted by the charming Ruby Slippers, the sexy show line-up will feature Alyssa Kitt from Brisbane, Miss Jane and Clara Cupcakes from Melbourne, Kinetica Circus Arts boys Karl Kayoss and Matthew Pope, Sugar Blue’s A’dora Derriere, Cecile Mimieux (teamed with The Astonishing Johnny Domino), Virtue Van Tassel, Fifi Fontaine and The Sugar Duchess.
